Due to rain in the forecast, we recommend evening waves to arrive earlier for the afternoon waves (as early as 1:00pm). Transfer to afternoon wave is free and does not require notification.
Please be advised course may need to be shut down if puddles become too large to run in, if there is lightning, or if the rain becomes too heavy.

Follow the Orange signs and Directional Signage!

On the northern tip of the park, runners need to make a hard RIGHT when West Dr. become East Dr.

Intersection of Lake Dr. and East Dr. is 4-way – Go STRAIGHT

Just after East Dr. becomes West Dr. there is a fork at S. Lake Drive – Stay on the RIGHT

West Drive forks at Centre Drive – Go LEFT (don’t go on Centre Drive)

West Dr. splits and comes back together – Stay on the RIGHT

Course begins by going straight West on the SF Bay Trail closest to the Ocean. Turnaround will be immediately before the NOAA Center (Red building). Route is an Out-and-back with the final lap for 5K & 13.1 a half loop to complete the required distance.

5K – 1 lap + 1/2 lap, 10K – 3 laps, Half-Marathon – 6 laps + 1/2 lap

Course will start at the Southern Center portion of the Park near the Lake.

  • Head East following the Lake
  • Follow the natural loop around the Park
  • When you arrive back at the original start, head up the center path until you see the turnaround sign
  • For 5K/10K, the turnaround sign is at the half-way point in the Center path
  • For 13.1, the turnaround is at the end point in the Center path
    5K is 2 laps, 10K is 4 laps, and 13.1 is 6 laps
